A 21-year-old man is being charged with two counts of deliberate homicide after two people were found dead in a home near Helena Monday night.
Kaleb David Taylor, who is also being charged with one count of tampering with evidence, was arrested Monday afternoon in connection with the death of the 61-year-old woman and 64-year-old man.
Lewis and Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton said the bodies of the married couple were found in the 1300 block of Cayuse Road, which is in the Treasure State Acres neighborhood off Montana Avenue just north of town. The deaths were reported at 9:42 p.m., and the names of the deceased have not yet been released.
The couple was last seen alive Saturday afternoon, Dutton said. Their bodies were found by someone who went to check on them Monday night.
Authorities have not yet released information about how the two people died, but Dutton said the deaths are being investigated as homicide.
"This is a homicide. Two counts of homicide," Dutton said.
