DEER LODGE -- The Rialto Community Theatre in Deer Lodge has announced its 2018-19 “Live! At the Rialto” Concert Series featuring a variety of performances. This is the fourth year for the popular series that has been expanded from five shows to six.

Season tickets are now on sale for $89 each; individual event tickets will also be available, usually for $20.

“The Diamonds” will kick off the season at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, with their new “Jukebox Broadway” show performing more than 50 of the most popular tunes from 15 Broadway musicals as well as other audience favorites.

The second show features a three-man tribute to Michael Bublé on Wednesday, Oct. 24. “Shades of Bublé” is a high-energy performance of Grammy award winning singer/song writer Bublé’s swinging standards and pop hits.

Back by popular demand on Thursday, Dec. 6, the a cappella group “Six Appeal” is returning to the Rialto stage with a special new Christmas/Ugly Sweater concert. These six young men were a big hit a few years ago and the Rialto is sponsoring an Ugly Sweater contest in conjunction with the show, so start shopping now.

On Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, the award winning, Las Vegas based “Spectrum” will bring their Motown/R&B show to Deer Lodge. These four incredible singers combine their voices and dexterity to create the beautiful harmonies and deft choreography that have made them world famous.

“An Evening with Karen Herrin” will be Thursday, March 14, and features this exceptional vocalist and concert pianist presenting a varied program of popular and special songs. Herrin has performed with opera and other companies in the U.S. and England and at St. Timothy’s at Georgetown Lake. She is currently the music teacher at Powell County High School. Area residents will finally get to enjoy the extent of her talents.

Closing out the season on Thursday, April 11, will be comedy ventriloquist Lynn Trefzger, also back by popular demand. Lynn’s family show is popular on Disney cruises and around the country for her audience interplay and impressive creativity.
