Tracy, Really interesting choice of “stories”. I love how precise their weight was recorded on minerals; it seems, “about 2,500,000 pounds” would be as interesting as “2,468, 321 pounds”. Anyway it’s counted, Butte sure mined an enormous amount of minerals—in dollars.
