PHILIPSBURG — Summer Rotary Concert, sponsored by the Rotary Club, is from noon to 7 p.m. at Winninghoff Park Saturday, Aug. 17. Gates will open at 11 a.m.

Musical acts include Ryan Chrys & The Rough Cuts from Denver, Colorado, Shakewell (Missoula), Home Cookin’ (Butte), and Laney Lou & The Bird Dogs (Bozeman).

“These are all superb performers and we selected a variety of styles that are guaranteed to have you dancing,” said Jim Jenner, concert chairman. “It’s going to be a great day of music, award-winning Pburg brews, a limited number of cool auction items, food booths and it all goes to charitable causes.”

During intermission, items will be auctioned. Food and beverages will also be sold.

This year the Rotary is also partnering with the Grizzly Scholarship Association so part of ticket proceeds benefit student athletes as well as local Granite County charities.

Tickets for the all-day concert are $25 for adults in advance ($35 day of) and kids 12 and under are free. Families are welcome. There is ample free parking, even for overnight RVs. For concert information and ticket purchases, go to: http://www.philipsburgrotary.org.
