Heading into its 22nd season, Orphan Girl Children’s Theatre is bringing some amazing shows for both young artists and community artists alike.
Up first is "Snow White'' by Kathleen Coombs, running Oct. 10-20. This retelling of the classic Grimm fairytale explores the darkness of jealousy while bringing to light what really makes us beautiful. Auditions will take place Aug. 22 and Aug. 29, and are open to young artists ages 7 and up.
Jump into the Christmas season Dec. 12-22, with "Babes in Toyland,'' based on the 1960s movie.
The Community Theatre show will be "Peter and the Starcatcher,'' which will be staged Feb. 13-23. This play with music takes theater-goers on a magical journey of a world before Peter Pan.

"Frozen Jr.'' will dazzle audiences April 16-26, with the same songs and characters we all love from the Disney animated film.
Lastly, the fourth annual 10/24 Play Festival will play May 16, as we premiere ten new plays in 24 hours and back by popular demand, but under a different theme, Orphan Girl Children’s Theatre will wow audiences with Shine Your Light: An Orphan Girl Cabaret.
Audition and ticket information is all located at www.orphangirl.org. Orphan Girl Children’s Theatre is in the lower level of the Mother Lode Theatre in historic Uptown Butte at 316 W. Park Street (Washington Street entrance).
