The Butte Symphony Association is presenting its second annual Chamber Music Concert at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 15, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, at Western and Caledonia Streets.

Small ensembles of symphony members will be performing in the church and will be taking advantage of the acoustics of the building. Music by Mozart, Breval, Gabriella and McGuire are a few of the composers to be represented.

Chamber music was originated for the smaller venues of courtyards and castles in the age of Vivaldi, Bach and Mozart. Because of the smaller groups, the talents of individuals are on display and the listener can enjoy the individual nuances of the instruments.

This concert features a quartet, a brass quintet, trios and Conductor Luis Millan accompanying various soloists on his classical guitar. This is a family oriented concert. The suggested donation is $10 and is open to the public.
