Head to Uptown Butte on Friday, Dec. 6, for the annual Christmas stroll.
The tree-lighting ceremony starts at 6:30 p.m., on the steps of the Butte-Silver Bow County Courthouse, with a visit from St. Nick.
At 6:45, the Children’s Light Parade winds its way through Uptown Butte to Park and Main.
To add to the festivities, there will also be music and dance.
Treats will be served at the courthouse and in NorthWestern Energy’s general offices.
In addition, join the Rotary and Interact Clubs of Butte in singing Christmas carols and lighting the Rotary community tree at 5 p.m. at Victory Circle, corner of Park and Arizona. There will be a special visit by Santa at this jolly occasion.

Also on tap is a winter craft market, which will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. at 66 W. Park St.

Stroll, parade planned in Deer Lodge — Deer Lodge will have their Christmas Stroll and the Tina Schowengerdt Memorial Parade of Lights Friday, Dec. 6. Dillon’s holiday kick-off Dec. 6 — Residents of Dillon plan to start the holiday season right with their annual Downtown Christmas Stroll & Parade of Lights Friday, Dec. 6.The festivities start at 4 p.m., and are sponsored by the Beaverhead Chamber of Commerce and Dillon’s downtown businesses.
Have an old-fashioned time in Ennis — Come experience Ennis during an old fashioned Christmas Stroll from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6. Merchants will be open late, featuring Christmas treats for all! Pictures with Santa and Christmas stories for children are planned, along with roasted chestnuts, live music, ice sculpture contest, decoration contest, special gallery events and much more!
