Vehicle vandalism at Uptown parking garage

Police say a vehicle was vandalized on the fourth floor of the Park Street parking garage Tuesday after someone threw a cinderblock through the car’s passenger window.

Police believe the vandalism took place sometime between noon and 10:30 p.m., Tuesday.

Nothing was taken from the vehicle, police said.

Criminal mischief

Police responded to the 3200 block of Keokuk Street after a resident reported that a man was on the street yelling and that he had pulled a mailbox off its base and thrown it to the ground.

The man, Michael Reynolds, 30, of Butte, was later apprehended walking east on Keokuk.

Reynolds has been cited with misdemeanor criminal mischief.
