Partner-family member assault

Police arrested a 17-year-old male at 2 a.m. Monday in the 2000 block of Thornton Avenue for partner-family member assault, a misdemeanor. According to police, the male came home late with a damaged family vehicle. When his mother and stepfather questioned him, the boy reportedly knocked holes in the walls, knocked doors off hinges and punched his step-father in the face.

Outstanding warrants 

Police arrested the following people:

  • Police allegedly stopped Jacob Reighard, 20, of Butte, at Second and Utah Streets at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday for driving without taillights and found a warrant for his arrest from Butte City Court for $6,000. He was booked on the warrant and giving a warning for no taillights.
  • Michael Rinaldi, 19, of Butte, turned himself into police at 10:30 a.m. Monday for failure to appear in Butte District Court on a $100,000 warrant.
