Man atop parking garage yells at pedestrians

Police responded around 5 p.m. Monday to the uptown parking garage on West Park Street in response to reports of a man sitting on the edge of the garage’s top level and yelling at pedestrians on the street below. Officers were unable to locate the man.

Man racks up $11,500 in contempt warrants

Police say they arrested Kristopher Lehto, 27, of Butte Monday afternoon during a traffic stop on the corner of Holland and Dakota Streets.

According to police, Lehto had six contempt warrants out for his arrest from Butte city court with a total bond of $11,500.

Woman hails police with fire alarm

Officers responded to 50 W. Broadway Monday night after a woman in the building allegedly pulled a fire alarm because she wanted to speak with police about an earlier incident.

Upon their arrival, officers issued the woman a citation for making a false report.

Stolen PlayStations

Police say two PlayStations were stolen from a residence on the 1100 block of East Second Street.

Police responded to the home around 12:30 a.m., Tuesday.

According to the victim, he returned home moments before calling police and discovered that someone had forced entry into his residence through a back door.
