Aggravated DUI

Police arrested Charles Cantwell, 35, of Butte, at about 3:30 a.m. Friday in the 500 block of South Main Street on a felony count of aggravated DUI because he allegedly tested to a blood alcohol amount over the legal limit that warrants a felony, but police declined to divulge the test results.

A witness allegedly saw Cantwell sleeping behind the wheel of a 1997 Toyota Camry with the engine running. When police arrived, they reportedly had a difficult time rousing Cantwell. Police suspected Cantwell of drinking, and reportedly gave him a sobriety test.
