Shopko announced more store closures on Thursday, with a handful more Montana locations now on the list.
The Wisconsin-based retailer had already announced closures of stores in Plentywood and in Wolf Point last month. Thursday's announcement included stores in Great Falls, Sidney, Hardin and Whitefish.
Additionally, pharmacies in Roundup and Dillon that operate under the Shopko brand will close.
Billings' Shopko location will remain in operation, according to Thursday's announcement. However, it hasn't gone untouched; earlier this week, Shopko closed its pharmacy there.
The full list of closures, which spans close to two dozen states, now includes more than 200 stores and can be found here. Most of the stores will close between March and May.
Before the closures, the chain had operated about 360 stores in 24 states. Shopko intends to seek Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection from creditors next week.
In Montana, Shopko also has stores in Glasgow, Helena, Kalispell, Lewsitown, Libby, Livingston, Missoula and Shelby, according to their website.
