America's Lost Mint Julep

Sage Lodge’s "America's Lost Mint Julep" cocktail was created as a tribute to one of Montana’s most famous bartenders, Julian Anderson, who bartended at The Montana Club in Helena for 60 years before dying the age of 102 in 1962. Anderson wrote the second cocktail book ever to be written by a Black bartender, Julian’s Recipes, which was published before Prohibition. Perhaps the finest of those drinks was the Mint Julep, for which Anderson was renowned.
