March 07, 2013 12:30 am

Head coach: Bryan Neuman

Overall record: 18-7

Roster— Seniors: Cassandra Skeers, Courtney Bryne, Paige Bodner, Jill Harris, Cody Miller, Courtney Austin, Kyndall Hoff; Juniors: Hailey Huot, Stephanie Drozdz; Carli O’Brien; Sophomores: Megan Byrne, Kyla Hill, Katie Benson;

Starters: Varies based on matchup.

Outlook: The Falcons use 11 players and the use of extra bodies in a major rotation can only help a team aiming for three wins in three days.

Florence-Carlton opens with Conrad and the Falcons hope to show off some of their talents. “We have good depth and leadership,” Neuman said. “This depth allows me to play 11 to 12 girls every night. I have seven seniors who have lots of state tournament experience. They were state champions in softball last year and placed third this year at the state volleyball tournament. Our biggest weakness is probably our lack of height — we have no girl over 5-foot-7 — but what they lack in height they definitely make up in effort.”

The Falcons press full court all game and will shoot threes in bunches while running a platoon rotation set with subs coming in and out every 40 seconds or so, according to Neuman.

“What I have seen and been told of Conrad is that they really get after it on the defensive end and in order for us to compete we will have to handle that pressure,” Neuman said of his team’s opening playoff game on Thursday.
