The top teams in each class in this 406mtsports.com rankings continue to have a stranglehold on the first-place spots.
The rest of the rankings? Well, waves are being made and some fresh faces are appearing after Week 3.
Great Falls CMR (2-1) made its debut in this week's rankings, jumping in at No. 3 after its 29-22 win over previous No. 3 Missoula Big Sky. The Rustlers topped Kalispell Glacier in Week 2, making it two weeks in a row with impressive wins. In turn, Big Sky (2-1) dropped to No. 5. Bozeman (3-0) stays put at No. 4 after defeating Glacier by one point at home, while Billings Senior (3-0) and Helena Capital (3-0) retain the top two spots respectively for the third straight week.
The Laurel Locomotives (3-0) also made their first appearance in the rankings this season, debuting at No. 4. Dillon (2-0), Sidney (3-0) and Corvallis (3-0) rank Nos. 1-3 for the second week in a row while Columbia Falls (1-1) falls one spot to No. 5.
Class B was a bit tame with changes this week, as the Nos. 1-7 spots stayed the same, led by Eureka (3-0) for a third straight week. However, Jefferson (3-0) made some moves and moved up from No. 10 to No. 8 after blanking Three Forks 47-0. Townsend (2-0) makes its first appearance this season, coming in at No. 9 while Shelby (1-2), which debuted this season at No. 9 before falling off last week, is back at No. 10 after defeating previous No. 9 Malta.
Ennis (2-1) and Charlo (3-0), the top two teams in 8-Man, stay put, though both teams did not play their Week 3 games until Monday. Madness ensued, as Ennis, the defending 8-Man state champion, was upset at the hands of Hobson-Moore-Judith Gap, 48-28, to shake things up in the 8-Man ranks. Charlo went on to defeat Arlee 56-6. Because the rankings go through Saturday, Ennis will remain at No. 1 this week despite the loss. The Nos. 3-7 teams also stay the same as a week ago. Scobey (3-0) and Lone Peak (3-0) each jump one spot to Nos. 8 and 9, respectively, while Joliet (3-0) makes its debut at No. 10.
Westby-Grenora (3-0) continues to hold the No. 1 6-Man spot after defeating previous No. 2 Richey-Lambert 36-18 on Friday. Richey-Lambert (2-1) drops to No. 4. Wibaux (3-0) moves up one spot to No. 2 while Sunburst (3-0) jumps up a position to No. 3. Nos. 5-9 stay the same while White Sulphur Springs (3-0) makes its season debut at No. 10.
