HELENA -- Jefferson High senior football players Hayden Guisti and Nate Brunett have been selected to the Class B All-State team.
Guisti, a JHS running back, toted the pigskin 119 times for 778 yards and seven touchdowns. Coming out of the backfield, he made 13 receptions for 151 yards and three TDs. As a linebacker on defense, Guisti posted 134 total tackles, 15 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, an interception and a blocked punt.
Brunett, his running mate, gained 1,332 yards on 199 carries, with 15 touchdowns.
Elkhorn area rival Townsend put one player on the all-conference team, in the person of sophomore Jaden Lamb, who made second team lineman.
Panthers making first team all-conference were Guisti, Brunett and senior Nathan Rasch. Rasch played O-line and linebacker for JHS. Receiving a second team berth was senior lineman Peyton Loveridge.
