Dillon’s Ti’el Lochridge placed 10th in the girls’ race to lead all local finishers at the Western A Divisional Cross Country Meet on Saturday at Fairmont Hot Springs.

Lochridge finished the 2-mile course in 20 minutes, 57 seconds, while her teammate, Sarah Griffin, was 12th in 20:02.0.

The Beaver girls placed sixth as a team.

Whitefish won the team title with 51 points, followed by Corvallis (65) and Columbia Falls (78).

Hamilton’s Jaycie Schmalz won the girls’ individual title in 19:25.4.

On the boys’ side, Dillon’s Sam Telling (17:55.1) was the top local finisher in 20th. Columbia Falls’ Sage Wanner (16:24.1) won the individual title.

Corvallis won the team title with 35 points, followed by Frenchtown (45) and Columbia Falls (92). The Dillon boys (163) were seventh.
