Max Feight scored 28 points, including four 3-pointers, and the Whitehall boys basketball team upset visiting No. 10 Missoula Loyola, 72-58, on Friday night.

The Trojans (7-3) also got 21 points and a pair of treys from Wyatt Alexander, while Ryan Murphy chipped in 10 points.

Whitehall trailed 16-10 after the opening quarter, but outscored Loyola 18-4 the rest of the half to take control for good.

Feight and Alexander combined for 13 points during the decisive stretch.

Jack Lincoln had 19 points for the Rams (4-2), who finished with just one 3-pointer to Whitehall's eight.

Jefferson 35, Deer Lodge 27

Bryce Harrington scored all 13 of his points in the first half, and Jefferson held on in a defensive battle against visiting Deer Lodge.

Josh Eckmann picked up the scoring for the Panthers (3-6) after halftime with all 12 of his points.

Greydon Nicholson led the Wardens (3-5) with 12 points in defeat.

Twin Bridges 51, Philipsburg 30

Clay Wolfe’s 16 points helped Twin Bridges pull away from hosting Philipsburg.

Colton Grange led the Prospectors with 15 points in defeat.

Rachael Nicholson scored a game-high 14 points, and Deer Lodge blew open a tight game with a 22-point fourth quarter against hosting Jefferson.

Kamryn Scully added 12 points for the Wardens (4-4).

Ellie Evertz had 13 points for the Panthers (6-2) in defeat.

Loyola 52, Whitehall 43

Tessa Burke went off for 22 of her 29 points in the second half, and Missoula Loyola ran past hosting Whitehall.

Burke hit a pair of 3-pointers and was a perfect 7 for 7 at the foul line for the Breakers (6-2).

Dorothy Mastel led the Trojans (1-9) with 14 points in defeat.

Twin Bridges 70, Philipsburg 29

Kailee Oliverson had 13 of her 23 points in the second quarter, and No. 3 Twin Bridges jumped on Philipsburg early for the road win.

Blue Keim added 15 of her 16 points in the second half for the Falcons, while Ashleigh Guinnane had 14 points.

Emma Grange's 10 points led the Prospectors.
