Montana Tech outside hitter Masha Korol and defensive specialist Sabrina Hopcroft were picked as the Frontier Conference Attacker of the Week and Defender of the Week, respectively, after the duo guided the Orediggers to conference wins over Carroll College and Lewis-Clark State.

Korol, a native of the Ukraine, averaged 3.25 kills per set during the two matches (.358 hitting percentage).

Hopcroft averaged six digs per set on the week and notched a season-high 37 in last Thursday’s five-set win in Helena.

Montana Tech will return to action on Thursday night when it hosts Montana Western. The Orediggers will host Rocky Mountain College on Saturday.

The Orediggers are one of two remaining teams who are unbeaten in conference play this season, with Rocky Mountain being the other.

The Battlin’ Bears also had a 2-0 week, thanks to the efforts of Natalie Hilderman, a Red Lodge native who was picked as the conference’s Setter of the Week.
