Led by team-high performances from Sean Benson and Trey Hoagland, the Montana Tech men finished in third at the Frontier Conference Golf Championship in Tempe, Arizona on Wednesday.
Freshman Sean Ramsbacher shot a 68 in the second round, the best mark of the tournament.
Hailey Ogolin paced Tech with a three-day total of 263 to help the Oredigger women take third as well. Both Ogolin and Campbell shot a team-leading 83 in the final round.
Both teams finished in third for the second year in a world.
Benson and Hoagland each concluded the tournament at 225, with Benson notching a 72 in the final round.
Rocky Mountain College surged to a first-place finish in both the men’s and women’s divisions while Lewis-Clark State took second in both tournaments.
Rocky Mountain's Michael Tait won the individual men's title with a 220 and Battlin' Bears Hayden Flohr won the women's title with a 232.
