WAILUKU, Hawaii — Plenty Coups product Terae Briggs scored 15 points Friday night to help Nevada top Montana State 67-53 at the Oregon State/Maui Jim Classic.

Briggs, a 6-foot-3 junior from Pryor, made 4 of 7 field goals and 7 of 8 free throws while playing a team-high 30 minutes. Jade Redmon led the Wolf Pack with 17 points.

The Bobcats did not have a player score in double figures. Tori Martell made three 3-pointers and led MSU with nine points. Delany Junkermier, Oliana Squires and Rebekah Hatchard each scored eight points.

Nevada led throughout, and built a 20-point advantage at the 2:58 mark of the fourth quarter. Former Billings West standout MorningRose Tobey scored five points for the Wolf Pack.

The Bobcats (5-3) saw their three-game winning streak come to an end. They will play at Hawaii on Monday. Tipoff is scheduled for 10 p.m. Mountain time.
