Coach Tricia Binford and Montana State ran their winning streak to three games with a victory over Utah State on Friday.

WAILUKU, Hawaii — Oliana Squires, Hannah Caudill and Delany Junkermier each scored in double figures and Montana State shot 64 percent in the fourth quarter on the way to a 64-52 victory over Utah State on Friday at the Oregon State/Maui Jim Classic.

Junkermier scored all 12 of her points in the second half. Squires made 5 of 9 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 18, while Caudill added 16 points, including three 3s.

The game was tied 20-20 after the first half and MSU led by two, 37-35, after the third quarter. But the Bobcats outscored the Aggies 27-17 in the fourth quarter to pull away.

Montana State made 9 of 14 shots in the fourth quarter, including 4 of 6 from 3-point range. The Bobcats made 10 3s in all.

Madeline Smith had seven points and eight rebounds for the Bobcats. Utah State was led by Rachel Brewster’s 16 points. Teammate Olivia West added 13.

MSU, now on a three-game winning streak, plays Nevada on Saturday at 8 p.m.
