 DILLON — Three members of the University of Montana Western equestrian team competed at the National Western semifinals in Findlay, Ohio, March 26-27.

The Montana Western competitors were up against powerhouse schools such as Stanford, UCLA and Connecticut. Of the three Montana Western competitors, two moved on to the National Western Finals to take place in Lexington, Ky., in May. 

Jenny Winfield, a human health and performance major and the Montana Western equestrian team’s assistant coach, will be attending the national Western finals at the Kentucky Horse Park along along with George Lawson, a natural horsemanship major.
