Support for Williams
Montana is one of the most politically progressive states in terms of female legislators, and yet there has been only ONE woman elected to Congress in the last century. In 1917, Jeannette Rankin became the first woman to hold federal office. She proved to be a very popular and dynamic leader. Now, finally, we have a worthy successor in Kathleen Williams, who is running June 5th for our one and only House seat.
She is simply the most qualified candidate, who has legislative experience, knows how to get bills passed, and whose platform I wholeheartedly agree with.
I have witnessed Kathleen firsthand in action crisscrossing Montana, engaging in meaningful dialogue regarding healthcare, wages, women’s rights, public lands use, climate change, Native Americans, gun issues and taxes. She engages, speaks her mind and can back it up.
It is due time to restore some real dignity to our political landscape. Ms. Williams is the most uniquely genuine individual who can beat Greg Gianforte in November. I urge you to vote for an intelligent, caring, passionate candidate who has no other agenda than helping her fellow Montanans.
