Butte Police Reports

• Jennifer McKiddie, 37, of Butte faces a possible charge of obstructing justice after police allege she lied to them about the location of a wanted person Thursday afternoon. Police allege McKiddie told them the suspect wasn’t at her residence in the 800 block of Dawson Loop. When police searched the residence, they found the suspect hiding under a bed. Carolyn LaPlaunt-Snyder, 38, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant. McKiddie remained in jail Friday morning.

• Ross Vescovi, 33, of Roundup was arrested in connection with criminal trespass to property Thursday morning. Police allege Vescovi refused to leave Chef’s Garden, 1201 S. Montana St., after he was told to leave. Vescovi had been arrested at the restaurant Wednesday morning after he allegedly ate a meal and refused to pay. He was released from jail Thursday morning before returning to the restaurant, according to the police report.
