Police responded to a disturbance at the Party Palace and found two men fighting. After determining the brawling was mutual, officers arrested the 59-year-old transient woman who was instigating the fistfight and yelling outside of the bar at about 1 a.m. Thursday. Marcia Ann Thibault is in jail on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.

About a half hour after that arrest, police returned to the Party Palace on another call reporting a disturbance. A man was reportedly trying to start fights and pounding on windows. Officers found a man on probation ordered not to be in bars. Alexander Ray Greybull, 26, attempted to run away but only made it across the street. Greybull is jailed on a probation violation and misdemeanor charges of obstructing a peace officer and resisting arrest.

A 27-year-old Butte man is in jail for allegedly having two methadone pills in his shoe. Police responded at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday to a vehicle out of gas at the corner of Second and Shields streets and realized the driver, Lucas Virgil Hundley, was wanted to a probation violation warrant out of FlatheadCounty. After taking Hundley into custody, officers found the drugs in his shoe. He remains jailed on the warrant and a felony charge of possession of dangerous drugs.

Authorities responded to a vehicle fire at 672 S. Montana St. at 9:34 p.m. Wednesday.

A caller at 7:01 p.m. Wednesday reported an attempted break-in on Hannibal Street. Someone apparently tried to pry a window open.

Police received a call at 10:02 a.m. Wednesday reporting a car window broken out at 8 W. Front St.
