The Young People's Open Theatre Project in Anaconda presents a community theater production of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" at 7 p.m. Friday and 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday in the Anaconda High School Little Theatre. PHILIPSBURG YULE NIGHT
Yule Night, a festive evening with cheer in the air, is from 5 to 10 p.m. in Philipsburg.The evening includes live music, a lighted parade, pictures with Santa, food and drink, and more.The event is hosted by the Philipsburg Chamber of Commerce.
TWIN BRIDGES STROLL
In conjunction with the annual Twin Bridges Christmas Stroll, the Yuletide Crafters Festival is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Twin Bridges Fairgrounds. The festival features lots of crafters selling their unique work.
The Dillon Christmas stroll runs from 5 to 8 p.m., sponsored by the Beaverhead Business Builders. Many businesses are offering refreshments, live music, Santa and Mrs. Claus, open houses, discounts, sales, drawings, prizes, and extended hours. There's even an Ugly Sweater Party with family-friendly games. Free hot chocolate and chili for $1 a bowl also will be available. Veterans and family members of William T. McLean, Major General, U.S. Army, retired, will gather to honor his Army experiences at 4 p.m. at the Anaconda-Deer Lodge County courthouse. His uniform will be on display for three months. The public is encouraged to attend. Details: 406-980-0340.
'A CHRISTMAS STORY'
"A Christmas Story" will be staged at the Cutler Theatre in Deer Lodge through Dec. 17. The holiday classic will run Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 general admission and may be reserved by calling the Cutler box office at 406-846-4096.
OGT RADIO PLAY
The Orphan Girl Children's Theatre presents an Orphan Girl Community Theatre production of "A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play," directed by Jackie Freeman. Shows are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Saturday matinee is a special Spotlight Performance where tickets are $13 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $5 for children 10 and under for pre-sale ONLY. Standard ticket prices apply at the door. Tickets for the other performances are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors, and $10 for kids 10 and under.
