‘Walk with Ease’ starts March 5
The Butte-Silver Bow Health Department is again sponsoring “Walk with Ease,” a free 6-week walking group for those who would like to start or maintain a low-impact exercise program.
Designed for all fitness levels, this group offers an encouraging social atmosphere with certified instructors.
First session begins Monday, March 5, and will continue for six weeks, walking Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Participants are asked to meet at 9 a.m. in the main seating area of the Butte Plaza Mall, 3100 Harrison Ave. The walk concludes at 10 a.m. Details: 406-497-5085 or 406-497-5025.
St. Patrick’s Day brunch March 11
St. Patrick’s Day events include the annual St. Patrick’s Day Brunch, which starts at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 11, at the Front Street Station, 800 E. Front St.
Sponsored by Butte Catholic Community North, the menu includes corned beef and cabbage. The cost is $20 a plate. In addition, there will be entertainment and door prizes.

Wellness fair planned for Monday
Highlands College of Montana Tech will sponsor its annual Wellness Fair for students, faculty and staff from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26. The event will be in the Commons and surrounding halls.
This event brings together health and wellness students and experts from various Montana Tech departments along with many community organizations and fitness focused businesses.
Transportation between campuses is being arranged. Butte-Silver Bow County Health will again be sponsoring a “Get Yourself Tested” area in which free STD testing will be made available. Other vendors include Veteran Service representatives, Fuel Fitness, U.S. Forest Service, Safe Space and many more.
