Film series continues Tuesday
The CINEMAtech film series continues Tuesday, March 6, at 7 p.m. in the Montana Tech library auditorium with one of the greatest films ever made, Satyajit Roy's 1955 debut, "Pather Pachali." This recently reconstructed and restored version is stunning and is the winner of over 30 international awards.
The film depicts rural Bengali life in a style inspired by Italian neorealism and is a naturalistic but poetic evocation of a number of years in the life of a family.
Admission is free and open to the public.
