Pinochle tourney planned Saturday
DIVIDE — A mid-winter pinochle tournament, hosted by Divide Grange #142, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Grange Hall in Divide.

Artists invited to apply for festival
ENNIS — The Ennis Arts Association will host the 23rd annual Madison Valley Arts Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at Peter T’s Park, located on the historic trail between Yellowstone National Park and Virginia City.
Artists working in all media are invited to submit entries for this juried show.

Tech to host religious forum
A forum, “Can a Scientist Believe in God?” will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, in the Montana Tech Auditorium.
Cullen Blue, a mechanical engineering professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will be the featured speaker. He will talk about the relationship between science and faith. The event will be moderated by Jack Skinner, a Montana Tech professor.
A reception will follow. The event is sponsored by Montana Tech Catholic Campus Ministry.
Tips to be shared on eating right
St James Healthcare and Hennessy Market are offering a grocery store tour at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at Hennessy Market, 32 E. Granite St. It is free and open to the public.
Anna Goodrum, dietetic intern at St James Healthcare will lead the tour. She will talk about purchasing bulk food, reading labels and how to pick out fruits and vegetables. Recipes will be shared and tips offered for preparing healthy foods.
