  • One-year-old male pitbull cross, black and white, picked up last Saturday on the 2700 block of Phillips


  • Three-month-old female longhaired, tiger, brown and gray, picked up Friday on Roosevelt Drive
  • Three-month-old male longhaired, tiger, dark brown and black, picked up Friday on Roosevelt Drive
  • Seven-month-old female shorthaired, dilute torti, picked up Jan. 22 on Highway 2

Church to host Kids' Night Out

Kids' Night Out will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at the First Presbyterian Church, Excelsior and Platinum.

The free event includes dinner, games, and Bible stories. Kids in grades K-5 are welcome. No registration required. More information is on Facebook at First Presbyterian Church Butte.

Joe McBride named best speaker

Top O’ The Mornin’ Toastmasters weekly winners included Joe McBride, best speaker, and John Grill, best topic respondent and best evaluator. The next meeting will be held at 6:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 5, at Perkins.

Senior center serves lunch

TWIN BRIDGES — Lunch is served daily at the Twin Bridges Senior and Community Center. The weekly menu through Feb. 2 is listed below:

Tuesday, Jan. 30 – Pasty with gravy, vegetable, fruit and dessert.

Wednesday, Jan. 31 – Chicken, mashed potatoes, vegetable, fruit and dessert.

Thursday, Feb. 1 – Spaghetti, garlic bread, vegetables, jello salad and dessert.

Friday, Feb. 2 – Chicken and rice casserole with vegetables, cake and fruit.
