Golden Sunlight in the pink

Decked out in a pink feather boa, Ryan Turner, a Barrick Gold Corp. geotechnical engineer at Golden Sunlight, 25 miles east of Butte, participated in Barrick Gold Corp.’s efforts to raise $750 for St. James Healthcare during the month of October for Breast Cancer Awareness. Golden Sunlight employees, as well as Redpath Mining contract employees, showed up on Oct. 10 and Oct. 26 wearing pink. Barrick donated $5 for each employee dressed in pink on the designated days. Redpath Mining matched those funds, bringing the total amount to $1,500. Overall, Barrick employees across the U.S. raised $8,000. The other recipients of the breast cancer awareness donation are Elko Cancer Network and Nevada Health Centers Mammovan in Nevada.
