A Butte man who didn’t want to hoof it from the bar to his Uptown home opted to steal a truck instead of walk, police said.

Steven Richard Jarvis II, 34, is accused of felony motor theft for stealing a Ford truck early Monday from outside of Crazee Carol’s Casino, 2702 Walnut St.

The truck’s owner later found it parked on the corner of Park and Clark, Butte-Silver Bow Sheriff Ed Lester said.

Officers arrested Jarvis in his home just down the road Tuesday morning.

“He said he didn’t want to walk, so he took the truck,” the sheriff said.

Jarvis remains in jail in lieu of a $25,000 bond.

I look at it this way to me the man drinking is the one who is the lazy one that is why he stoled someones truck I mean that is lazy all because he was too tired and his legs are weak then he needs to not be drinking so much and because of his stealing the cop had every right to take him to jail!

Well if you don't want to be getting arested for stealing a truck all because of drinking , and because of drinking its too much, then don't go to the bar and drink so much, its common sense. I think it is very nutz for someone to steal someone's car all because of their stupidity of drinking and then to lazy to walk to his house. I mean this town just keeps getting worse ,
