VEHICLE TORCHED

Butte firefighters and police responding around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday to the report of a vehicle fire found a compact car fully engulfed in flames in a parking lot near the Motel 6 at North Wyoming Street.

“It was spray painted pretty well, I might add,” Doherty said.

Police said the car had been listed as stolen on November 8.
