March 23, 1962-Sept. 2, 2017
Patty Ann (Crowley) Janhunen, age 55 went into eternal rest Saturday morning, September 2, 2017.
She was born the last of six children to Dick and Rose Crowley in Helena on March 23, 1962. Patty was raised in Butte where she attended local schools and graduated from Butte High School in 1980.
She was a motivated hard worker going through The Beauty School Academy and working at Taco John's.
In 1984 she married Andy Janhunen and in 1987 she received her nursing education from Vo-Tech's nursing program. They welcomed their daughter Stephanie into the world in 1988 and later divorced. Patty eventually relocated to Post Falls, ID. In 1993 she welcomed her second daughter Lacey into the world. She spent the next several years working at Military supply businesses, attending Lacey's many activities including softball and cheerleading while also working as a caregiver. She very much enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter Alli over the past couple of years.
A special thanks to our Mother who spent countless hours in prayer for her daughter as she struggled with an extended disease. Her passing was a surprise but she died peacefully in her sleep.
Patty is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Rose Janhunen, Butte, Lacey Ann Hojem, Spokane, her mother Rose (Burns) Crowley, siblings Harold (Letty) Crowley, Kathy (Mike) Doughty, Jim (Coleen) Crowley, Ron (Jackie) Crowley, Christopher Crowley and granddaughter Alli Parks. Patty was supported by her extended family Aunts Della McClure, Sandra Balek, Jeri (Bob) Heady and Uncle Jim (Rose) Manion as well as an Irish trove of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Patty joins her father Richard Crowley and his six siblings, her paternal grandparents Richard and Abigail Crowley her maternal grandparents Patrick & Delnette Manion, Uncle Paddy Ray Manion and William "Bud" Burns in God's heavenly grace.
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Travel safe Patty Ann. We love you. Always did and always will. Your Family
