Kevin Grealish, 38, of Butte, Montana passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 11, 2018 while adventuring in the ocean off the coast of Hawaii. Kevin was born on March 15, 1979 in Great Falls, Montana to parents John and Debbie Grealish. Raised alongside his brothers, Kevin spent his formative years in Helena and Butte where he attended schools in both locations. After graduating from Butte High School in 1998, Kevin enrolled in Montana State University (Billings and Bozeman). He earned his B.A. in International Business with a minor in French. Kevin’s adventurous spirit then led him to live and travel throughout Montana, Ireland, and Hawaii. He funded his travels working as a mixologist and was most recently employed with Down the Hatch in Maui.
In addition to his adventures, Kevin had a passion for soccer. He volunteered his time as a soccer coach for U 14 Girls Soccer in Billings, Montana. He also loved to expand his knowledge through reading and enjoyed working on his beloved Camaro “the Black Irish.” Kevin will be most remembered for his kindness and generosity, his fun-loving spirit, and his adoration of his nieces and nephews.
Kevin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Clela Grealish; his maternal grandparents, Patrick and Dorothy Gilligan; uncle, Jim Grealish; and cousin, Cannon Armbruster.
He is survived by brother, Travis (Amanda) Grealish and their children, Jacoby, Declan, and Devereaux of Great Falls, Montana; brother, Sean Grealish and daughter Bella of Butte, Montana; brother, Brendan (Sheena) Grealish and children, Kelton and Kjaran of Great Falls, Montana; as well as numerous friends and family in the U.S. and Ireland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, Feb. 24, at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish located at 201 44th Street South Great Falls, Montana 59405. Condolences and memories may be shared with Kevin’s family at www.dahlcares.com.
