April 19, 1953-April 12, 2018
Karen Lee Lemler Mohney was called home to her Lord and savior on Thursday evening April 12, 2018.
Karen was born on April 19, 1953 to Kathleen and Laddie Lemler.
Karen had a great memory as she recalled teachers from the Blaine School and how kind they were to the kids. Karen graduated from Butte High and had been employed in the kitchen at St. James Hospital.
Karen enjoyed the simple things in life, listening to Party Line daily, cheering for the Raiders and the Denver Rockies, and discussing local politics. She was an avid member of Trinity Methodist Church. Her true passions were collecting stuffed animals, her favorite stuffed animal was her stuffed monkey, participating as a member of the county fair board, and making cards for all occasions. If you were important to Karen then you were lucky enough to receive a homemade card from her.
Karen was predeceased by her parents; her beloved grandmother, Emily; and her special love, Andrew Martinez.
Karen is survived by a sister, Carol Ann Siverson of Grand Fork, North Dakota, niece, Darcy St. John of Woolwich, Maine and nephew, Robb Siverson of Fargo, North Dakota. She is also survived by several cousins, including Bill and Kathy Lovell and Betty Babb and family, and her childhood friend, Rose Mary Scates.
Thank you St. James ICU nurses, Karen's Earthly Angels, for your compassionate care as Karen completed her earthly journey.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at Duggan Dolan Mortuary. Please make memorials to the Spirit of the Gardens Carousel.
