It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph “Joe-Joe” Leon Cannon announces his passing, Tuesday, March 6, 2018.

Joe was born in Butte, Montana Sept. 25, 1990, to Lisa Brown and Rodney Cannon. From a young age, he loved the outdoors and heights. Showing his fearless side, he loved to climb and if there was a cliff near, you would find Joe peering over. His kindness was astounding, he genuinely cared about others, always putting them first. His handsome looks, charming personality and unique sense of humor was able to brighten any room. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Joe, loved him. He is missed dearly but heaven is now brighter.

He is survived by his parents, Lisa Brown of Minnesota and Rodney Cannon of Idaho; grandmother, Judie Brown of Montana; sister, Crystal (Corey) Blanar of Florida; brothers, Gene Cannon of Minnesota and Jordan Cannon of Minnesota; half-brother, Mike Garcia of Washington; half-sisters, Sonja Garcia of Montana and Angel Garcia of Montana; aunts and uncles, Wendy and Julius Hall of Montana, Richard and Rachel Brown of Montana, Jody and Denise Brown of New York, Tim and Vonda Hall of Minnesota, Mary and Martin Grendahl of Minnesota, Barb and Jim Pospeh of Minnesota, and Ron and Maryann Sletten of Montana; nieces, Cadence, Cloey, and Crystin; nephew, Corey Jr.; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Ralph and Myrtle Sletten of Minnesota; grandfather, Richard Brown of Butte, Montana; grandmother, Bettie Hall of Montana; uncle, Lanny Holm of Butte, Montana; aunt, Doris Hall of Minnesota; and cousin, Ryan Hall of Montana.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. June 22, at Loren Thompson Park, Baxter, Minnesota.
