On May 11, 2018 Fran McCrorey left this world behind to be with our Heavenly Father.
Born in Klamath Falls, Oregon in 1937, she lived the majority of her life in her beloved Galt, California. This is where she raised her family and surrounded all she came in contact with in love.
She is known for her love of children, raising both grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and any in need that came along. She was an accomplished horsewoman and taught all her children how to love and value all God’s creatures.
She moved to Ramsay, Montana, in 2005 after receiving a diagnosis of Alzheimer's, to be closer to her daughter. She was able to continue riding horses and enjoying life until just a few years ago when the disease became too advanced.
She leaves behind her two daughters, Debbie Billingsly and Nanette (Mark) Jenness; her children/grandchildren, Robert (Tara) Fawcett, Mark (Allysin) Billingsly, Christie Billingsly, and Bill (Katrina) Lindsley; great-grandchildren/children, A.J. Billingsly, Katalina Spencer and Michael Spencer; brother, Clyde (Eunice) Grinstead; and other friends and family too numerous to mention.
She was preceded in death by parents, Clyde and Neva Grinstead; sister, Pauline (Bill) Sickmiller; husband, Ellis McCrorey; and son, Michael McCrorey.
A special thanks to Tracey and all the wonderful staff at the Crest for their loving care of Mom.
A celebration of life will be held in the future at a time yet to be determined.
Memorials can be made to your local food bank, animal shelter or to the Alzheimer's Association.
Axelson Alternative Cremation is privileged to serve the McCrorey family.
