Butte Police Reports
Daniel R. Michaud, 49, of Butte was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct about 2 a.m. Wednesday. Police allege they went to Michaud's residence in the 600 block of W. Granite twice that morning on noise complaints. Police also allege Michaud was intoxicated, which was a violation of his probation and was placed under arrest.
Tyler R. Merritt, 19, of Butte is accused of causing a disturbance at the Thriftway at Front and Utah about 12:20 a.m. Wednesday. Police allege he knocked down items in the store and pushed some of the patrons. He was arrested and faces possible misdemeanor charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct, obstructing a peace officer and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police also allege Merritt was intoxicated and was cited with minor in possession of alcohol.
Lisa A. Gillihan, 49, homeless, was arrested in connection with disorderly conduct after she allegedly tried to assault and spit on a man near the Butte bus depot at 1324 Harrison Ave. Tuesday evening. She also could face a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a peace officer after allegedly giving police a false name.
Patrick Pelly, 46, of Butte was arrested after a patrol officer allegedly saw him urinating in public at Colorado and Platinum about 6 p.m. Tuesday. Police also found a syringe and a small amount of marijuana on him, according to the police report. He faces misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct, possession of dangerous drugs and paraphernalia.
Allen J. Brescia, 48, homeless, was arrested about 5:50 p.m. Tuesday after he allegedly hit a patron at the Corner Bar, 501 S. Montana St. No serious injuries were reported. Brescia faces a misdemeanor charge of simple assault. Brescia's assault arrested came the same day he was released from the Butte jail on a separate misdemeanor public intoxication charge.
