Butte
- The Silver Beaus and Belles will dance Friday at 8 p.m. the
Margaret Leary School. Newcomers welcome.
- Eagles Aerie No. 11 , at 15 south Montana, is having a pot luck
dinner, Friday at 6 p.m. Public welcome.
- The Montana Native Plant Society Calypso Chapter is having a
Christmas potluck brunch on Saturday at noon at 221 Ophir, hosted
by Kriss and Rick Douglass. Bring a brunch dish to share. Coffee
and tea will be provided. Invite a friend who might be interested.

- Montana Cornish Cousins luncheon starts at noon Saturday in the
War Bonnet Hotel. Reservations, call 494-7925 or 782-3154.
- Mass in honor of the 478th anniversary of the appearances of
Our Lady of Guadalupe starts at 6 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph
Church, Second and Utah. Potluck follows in the church hall.
- VFW Post 1448 and Ladies Auxiliary meet at noon Monday, Dec.
14, at the Elks. Please bring a present.
- Montana Friends in Fellowship will meet Monday, Dec. 14, at
Perkins Restaurant at noon. The topic is pre-planning for a
spiritual revolution that could spread across our state and across
the United States as well. Call Mary at 498-0387.
- American Legion Copper City Post 115 will have a business
meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at the Comfort Inn.
- The East Side Athletic Club will have a business meeting at
6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
- NorthWestern Energy Retirees' Christmas dinner is Tuesday, Dec.
15, at the War Bonnet Hotel, with registration at 6 p.m. and buffet
dinner at 7 p.m. Cost is $16. Reservations due by Dec. 13. Call

- The Butte Convention and Visitors Bureau board will have its
monthly meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 15, at 8:30 a.m. at the Butte
Chamber of Commerce. The public is welcome to attend. For questions

- Ramsay School Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16,
in the school cafeteria.
- The American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 1 will host a social
Wednesday, Dec. 16, for the American Legion Post No. 1. All
Legionnaries and Auxiliary members are encouraged to attend.
Meetings will follow. The Auxiliary will have a $15 gift exchange
following the meeting.
Anaconda
- The Anaconda Elks kids Christmas party will be Sunday at 2 p.m.
at the lodge.
- Eureka Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 6 p.m.
Monday, Dec. 14, for a Pot Pie Dinner in the Masonic Temple.
Members with names from I to Z will bring a side dish or dessert.
We are to bring a book for a child to be given for Christmas. Polly
Gessele and John Stoppler will preside at the meeting at 7:30
p.m.
- The Anaconda Lady Elks Christmas party and card party will be
Thursday, Dec. 17, at the lodge.
No-host cocktails at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m. There will be a $5
gift exchange, and a donation for the Food Bank would be
appreciated. Call 563-7942 for reservations.
- The Anaconda Knights of Columbus will have their annual
Christmas turkey dinner on Thursday, Dec.17, at the AOH hall, 106
Cherry St., at 7 p.m. Price is $8.
