On the Rocks lecture series

DILLON — Alex Leone of the Clark Fork Coalition will present the first “On the Rocks” talk of 2016-17 on Monday, Nov. 28. Leone’s lecture is at 3:45 p.m. in Block Hall on the UMW campus, room 311, Dillon.

Leone, a restoration specialist for the Clark Fork Coalition, works on stream restoration in the Upper Clark Fork focusing on water planning efforts and conservation projects aimed at enhancing flows and restoring aquatic habitat.

His talk will address impacts of low summer stream flows on water resources in southwest Montana’s Jefferson Valley.

The free “On the Rocks” lecture is part of a series sponsored by the Environmental Sciences Department and University of Montana Western Foundation Office.
