DEER LODGE — Cutler Brothers Productions and Missoula Comedy will host a night of laughs with Lukas Seely, a comedian and Montana native, at 8 p.m. Friday, April 5, in the Cutler Brothers Theater in Deer Lodge.

Seely has been on Showtime and The Food Network. He performs regularly at the Hollywood Improv under his mentor Louie Anderson.

He has opened to the likes of Damon Wayans, Dane Cook, Sarah Silverman, Ron White, Bill Burr, Greg Giraldo and Daniel Tosh.

Seely was born and raised in Billings, where he eventually branched out to Seattle, New York, and finally Hollywood.

The comedic poise Seely brings to the stage is impressive. He makes audiences feel as if they were sitting at home in front of the fireplace. Seely is a proud Montana-Asian whose parents came to the U.S. after escaping a work camp.

Accompanying Seely are other comedians including the 2011 Montana Comedy Competition winner Mark Dawson.

“This is a must see show,” said Kelly Cutler, Cutler Brother’s director. “Even if you can’t afford the ticket price, give us a call and we’ll work something out. We strive to turn the Deer Lodge Valley into a destination,” he said.

Tickets are $15-$20 and reservations are encouraged. A no-host bar will be available. Call Cutler Brothers Box Office at 846-4115 for reservations, questions or directions or visit cutlerbros.com.

  1. You called someone an idiot, a racist, a dope, a moron, etc. Please, no name-calling or profanity (or veiled profanity -- #$%^&*).
  2. You rambled, failed to stay on topic or exhibited troll-like behavior intended to hijack the discussion at hand.
  3. YOU SHOUTED YOUR COMMENT IN ALL CAPS. This is hard to read and annoys readers.
