The Butte Symphony and local Chorales present their annual Christmas Concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, in the Mother Lode Theatre, 316 W. Park St.

The symphony and the 100-plus voices of the Anaconda, Butte Central and Butte High Chorales will treat the audience to a delightful evening with music of the season. Join the orchestra and the three chorales for selections of holiday music from around the world. Included in the concert will be Russian Christmas Music, and music from Beethoven. The grand finale will be a carol sing-along.

The Butte Symphony is the oldest and original symphony in Montana, and the all-volunteer orchestra boasts members from Butte, Helena, Missoula, Anaconda, Deer Lodge, Whitehall, Bozeman, and as far away as Sidney.

Single tickets range from $15 for students to $40 for main floor with $35 for mezzanine and $30 for balcony. Tickets are available at the Mother Lode Theatre box office, on the web at buttesymphony.org or by calling 723-3602.
