The Butte America Foundation will again host Butte's St. Patrick's Day Parade, which begins at noon Saturday, March 17, in historic Uptown Butte.
Entry fee is $40 for general entries and $30 for non-profit organizations. This is necessary to cover costs associated with the parade and is non-refundable.
Entry deadline is 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 7. Late entries received will be placed at the end of the parade, no exceptions. Late entry fee is an additional $40.
All entries must be submitted and paid for online at www.butteamericafoundation.org.
Entrants are required to have one representative attend a mandatory pre-parade meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, March 12, at the Knights of Columbus, 224 W. Park St. Numbers will be given to entrants at this time. If you cannot make the meeting, contact Matthew Boyle at 406-498-3549 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org in advance or you will be removed from the parade lineup.
Parade assembly begins at 10 a.m. at the Lexington Gardens (off Arizona on East Granite) and will be staged east on Granite, south on Covert and east on Broadway. All entries must be in place by 11:15 am. The parade route begins at the corner of Arizona and Granite, proceeding west on Granite to Montana, south on Montana to Park Street, and east on Park Street to Arizona, where disassembly can begin.
