A Deer Lodge woman rolled her vehicle Friday morning on the interstate near Anaconda but only sustained minor injuries despite not wearing her seat belt, trooper Tom Gill of the Montana Highway Patrol said.

The accident occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Interstate 90 near the exit for Anaconda. The woman, in her 40s, was heading east when the car slid on the ice and she lost control of the vehicle, Gill said. The vehicle rolled and came to rest on the driver side of the car.

Gill said the woman complained of neck pain and was transported to Community Hospital of Anaconda.

The woman may have been going too fast for road conditions, Gill said. Drugs or alcohol were not involved.
