Every year Butte car care services see vehicles involved in accidents with the first snowfall. Red Wrecker and Les Schwab Tire Center offer tips to keep safe on winter roads.

A 29-year Missoula man rolled his vehicle just north of Drummond Saturday morning, resulting in a possible fractured collarbone, an official with the Montana Highway Patrol said.

Trooper Tim Wyckoff said the 29-year old was driving east on Interstate 90 near the 153 exit for Drummond when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed the median, and rolled the car amid icy road conditions. The accident occurred around 7:30 a.m.

Wyckoff said the man may have been going too fast for road conditions. He was wearing his seat belt, and drugs and alcohol were not involved, the trooper said.

The man was transported by road to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.
