Larry White, 46, of Butte allegedly tried to fight and flee the police at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 3500 block of Harrison Ave.
Police got a call about a man walking in and out of traffic on Harrison Ave. When police arrived, White allegedly ran away and was detained by two patrons in the parking lot of a gas station on Harrison at the interstate exchange. White attempted to fight the officers and kick out a police car window, according to police. Once he was taken into custody, two syringes were allegedly found. Police booked him for three misdemeanors: possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
Outstanding felony warrant
Rebecca Marshall, 38, of Butte was booked at the Butte-Silver Bow courthouse at about 1 p.m. Wednesday for an outstanding felony warrant for a robbery that allegedly occurred at Stokes Market in May.
Benny Sandoval, 38, of Butte was arrested for an outstanding warrant of violating a restraining order at about 3 p.m. Wednesday when he allegedly violated his restraining order a second time at a local storage unit.
Police had been called to the storage unit because the female who took out the restraining order was allegedly concerned Sandoval would visit the storage unit while she removed items from the unit. Sandoval did appear, according to police. Police booked him on the outstanding warrant without further incident.
James York, 33, of Butte was arrested at Silver Bow Homes at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday for an outstanding warrant for an allegedly stolen bicycle taken from the Safeway parking lot on Massachusetts Avenue in July.
