Partner or family member assault

Police arrested Jack Evers, 37, of Butte at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 1000 block of Placer Street for a felony charge and misdemeanor charge of partner or family member assault with minor injury. Evers allegedly got into an argument with a female, pushed her, grabbed her by the throat, and threw her on the bed. Evers left the residence before police arrived, and they found him walking nearby on Dakota and Aluminum.

Possession of dangerous drugs

Police arrested Jill Fry, 42, of Butte and Adam Price, 22, of Idaho at about 7:40 a.m. Wednesday on the 200 block of West Silver Street. Police booked Fry for two misdemeanors — possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia — and for a probation violation.

Police arrested Price for possession of dangerous drugs, a misdemeanor, and for an out-of-jurisdiction felony warrant.

Police were assisting probation and parole officers in a search of Fry’s residence, where they said syringes, a glass pipe, and a small amount of marijuana were found. Police found Price also at the residence and learned he had a warrant out of Idaho and allegedly found a small amount of marijuana on him.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Police arrested Darian Brown, 24, of Butte at about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday for a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. During a parole and probation search on the 1000 block of Gaylord Street, police said they found a pipe and a bong.

Criminal mischief

Police arrested Joseph Reynolds, 26, homeless, at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Zip Trip at Park and Excelsior on a charge of criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, and for a felony probation violation. According to police, officers were looking for Reynolds because he had damaged the walls at the Western Montana Mental Health Center, 24 E. Copper St.

Shoplifting

Police arrested Leslie Erickson, 35, of Polson at 3 p.m. Wednesday on a misdemeanor charge of shoplifting from Walmart, 3901 Harrison Ave., and for a probation violation. Erickson allegedly stole $45 worth of merchandise, which included shirts and socks, and left the store. Police found her at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, 3825 Harrison Ave.

Failure to disperse

• Police arrested Jewel Thomas, 27, of Butte at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday for failure to disperse, a misdemeanor. Police were called to the 600 block of West Granite Street because Thomas was standing outside yelling at people inside a building. Officers gave her a ride to the 500 block of North Excelsior, where she refused to get out of the police vehicle and refused to give the name of the resident inside the home.

• Police arrested Alex Osier, 21, homeless, at 12:20 a.m. Thursday outside Dotty’s Casino, 2000 Dewey Blvd., on a misdemeanor charge of failure to disperse. Police said they found Osier outside smoking a cigarette after being asked to leave the premises. When officers asked him to leave, he refused, according to police.

Criminal contempt

Police arrested Wade Link, 61, of Butte at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday for a misdemeanor criminal contempt warrant during a traffic stop at Continental and Irene.
