Partner family member assault
Police arrested Stephanie Ashley, 31, of Butte, in the 3500 block of Gaylord Street at about 11 a.m. Sunday for a misdemeanor count of partner-family member assault with minor injury.
Ashley and a sister were allegedly fighting over babysitting each other’s kids. The parents of the two sisters were breaking up the fight when Ashley threw a glass at her sister, according to police. The glass struck the victim above the eye, causing a laceration, police said.
The victim was transported to the hospital, police said.
Police arrested Jordan McNabb, 24, of Butte, at about 6 p.m. Saturday for aggravated DUI, a misdemeanor.
Police received a call about a disturbance in the 2100 block of Roberts Road. While en route to the scene, police found that McNabb had left the residence in a vehicle, police said. Police located McNabb nearby and allegedly found him intoxicated. He blew three times over the legal limit, police said. No one inside the residence wanted to press charges over the earlier disturbance, according to police.
Violation of a protection order
Police arrested Jeremiah Foote, 28, of Butte, in the 2500 block of Parrot Street at 4 p.m. Sunday for violation of a protective order, a misdemeanor.
Police allegedly found Foote in a residence near the home of a person who placed a restraining order on Foote. Because of the restraining order, he cannot go within 1,500 feet of the victim.
Foote also had an outstanding felony warrant for stalking and a warrant for a previous violation of the order, a misdemeanor.
